The stylized forms of the Acanthus leaf, used on scroll motifs, borders and in architecture, go back in history to ancient Greece and Rome. Loosely based on the oldest plants in the Mediterranean, the ornamentation creates graceful form appealing to well-proportioned aesthetics.
The Acanthus Necklace is inspired by the beautiful large scrollwork focal beads with drop and round shapes. Figure 8 and Round Links interconnect to create the long flowing neck piece. A leaf like fringe with small zircon bezels dangle from the chain. The earrings mimic the Round Link and dangle from a French ear wire.
